IMPORTANT DATES
As we enter into the final stretch of this softball season, coaches please remember that we have deadlines to meet in order to have a smooth transition into our Southern California Conference meetings, Seeding meeting, and Business meeting.
The Seeding Meeting as well as the Business Meeting will be held in Santa Barbara.
I have arranged for rooms at the Ala Mar by the Sea Hotel and the Villa Rosa Inn ( Both Hotels are small and situated right next door to each other. The Ala Mar Hotel is directly across the street from the beautiful Pacific Ocean, located at 102 West Cabrillo Blvd. The Villa Rosa in is next door located behind the Ala Mar at 15 Chapala Street.

The Seeding Meeting will take place at the Villa Rosa Inn at 7:00pm on Friday night, April 25th. There will also be a Coaches Social in the lobby area of the hotel for all coaches to enjoy.
On Saturday, April 26th, at 10:00am our Southern California Business Meeting will take place on the Campus of Santa Barbara City College, located approximately 3 minutes from the hotel. The meeting will be in the Physical Science Building room 130 located on the Main Campus.
Please come prepared to discuss the changes that have been set by the COA as far as Cost Saving Recommendations, reduced contests, officiating costs, and site evaluation for post-conference. We must have our recommendations for the 1-year adjustments in regard to Seeding, playoff/season dates, and Site for 2004 State Tournament. This information must be submitted before June 1st to the COA.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION OF IMPORTANCE:
ü Coaches please pay your dues. In order to vote at Business meeting, you must belong to the CCCFCA.
ü If you have not submitted stats for players you are considering nominating to Southern Regional and State Teams, they will not be considered at meeting.
ü If you have Handbook Proposal changes, please present them on a Form 5.
ü Deadline for Regional Event Agreement form is April 25th.
ü For those coaches who have an idea that you will qualify for Regional playoffs, PLEASE SUBMIT YOUR TEAM ROSTER , TEAM PHOTO AND COACHES PICTURE TO Jill.collings@attbi.com or send information to Rhonda Williams at Fresno City College.
In order for us to have a complete State Championship Program get them in by April 21st We need them to set program design for the State Tournament.
ü Executive Board Members Please let me know what player gifts you have secured. Your deadline is May 1st.
